- Review: This very dark ruby colored Malbec opens with a musty oak infused black cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, shows nice acidity, and displays oak infused black cherry flavors. The finish is dry and slightly extended. The panel thought this would be a nice everyday offering. A great value! As pleasurable to the nose as it is to the palate, this 100% Malbec is redolent with red fruits like cherries and raspberries, as well as spices. Even though it's beautiful alone, la Posta is also quite versatile and can be paired with anything from a cheese platter to fried chicken.
- Comments: Vibrant red color with aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and blueberries wafting from the glass along with notes of soft caramel from the oak. On the palate, the fresh berry flavors mingle with spice notes in the finish. This is a creamy, full-bodied and well-structured wine that is incredibly full of life. Goes great with everything from hamburgers and chicken to pasta and mild cheeses.
